This video system started off with the integration of 7" Alpine LCD screens molded into the rear seat backs of the front seats and recovered in matching Mercedes Napa leather.
The video system originally was going to interface with a separate Alpine 6 Disc DVD changer mounted in the trunk, but we took it one step further and integrated the rear screens to the factory COMAND unit, enabling the rear screens to display a DVD video
So you have the factory $1950 option for dual 7" headrest with DVD, or adding the factory dual headrest system for $2400... just to play DVD's? BORING!

Controlling the system couldn't be easier thanks to the touchscreen operation. However, an additional infrared remote control comes with the system to further facilitate the enhancement of the integration, thus allowing up to three additional video inputs to be selected or selecting the source for the optional rear seat video system.
