Quite possibly the first of its kind in the world on a 2010 or 2011 Mercedes-Benz CL Class due to the vehicle being a coupe. This video system started off with the integration of 7" Alpine LCD screens molded into the rear seat backs of the front seats and recovered in matching Mercedes Napa leather.

The video system originally was going to interface with a separate Alpine 6 Disc DVD changer mounted in the trunk, but we took it one step further and integrated the rear screens to the factory COMAND unit, enabling the rear screens to display a DVD video

Directed Electronics has announced the availability of a new feature on its Viper SmartStart that allows users to pinpoint where they parked a vehicle. The feature, SmartPark, notes a vehicle’s location every time the user presses the door lock button in the Viper SmartStart app to return to the stored location, a user can press the “Find My Car” button in the app to retrieve the location, accessing any additional accompanying photo or note reminder that the user may have stored. SmartPark shows a map with walking directions back to the car’s location.

Saab NA and Bernie Moreno, President of the Collection Auto Group announce plans to build and open Saab’s first exclusive image facility.  The image facility, otherwise known as the “Ice Block” is expected to open by the end of the year.

So you have the factory $1950 option for dual 7" headrest with DVD, or adding the factory dual headrest system for $2400... just to play DVD's? BORING!
